The JCAS is a group of artists and citizens dedicated to raising awareness
of the arts and the artistic process\, as well as integrating the arts in
to the community through education\, events\, and
economic development. The JCAS sees art as a vital component to our lives
and one that will also enrich our community.
Th e community is invited to the Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Mo nday\, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Church\, 69 Myrtle S treet\, Cranford\, sponsored by the Cranford Clergy Council and the Cranfo rd Interfaith Council.
\nNew this year is a “Caring and Sharing Fair ” inviting local churches and non-profits to share their charitable activi ties and mission work\, services to the community at-large and social just ice projects.
\nThe Fair will take place from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. prece ding the service and following the service until 9:00 p.m.
\n\nCome out on Thursday\, January 12th between 6:30pm-8:30pm to see the Fine Arts Show in the Wolfe Library and Learning Commons (3rd Floor CHS) and s tick around or stop in to see the Winter Instrumental Concert in the CHS A uditorium starting at 7:30pm.
\n\n\nTeens are invited to hang out and create art with friends! We’ll be drinking bubble tea and creating pai ntings inspired by the art of Yayoi Kusama. All participants will receive a complimentary bubble tea. This free program is being held at Fire me Up! Studios on Tuesday\, March 7 from 4-5 p.m. This program is best suited to children ages 12+. The program is free but registration is required.
