Our office is happy to announce the first Downtown Cranford Pink Out\, taking place 10/1-10/3. We are proud to be wo rking with the Bosom Buddies of Cranford\, a group of women from Union Cou nty who have connected\, bonded\, and supported each other through their j ourneys with breast cancer. From the Bosom Buddies of Cranford Facebook pa ge: “We are all unique and have different stories\, but there are many thi ngs we share in common – we have all been faced with a breast cancer diagn osis\, we are strong\, we want to help others and we want to find a cure!”

\n\n\nCranford’s third annu al Souperhero Stroll returns to town on January 14 and 15\, 2023.
\nA collaboration between Downtown Cranford and Cranford High School Class o f 2023 Project Graduation\, the Souperhero Stroll gives people a taste of a variety of soups from Cranford restaurants\, while also raising funds fo r Project Graduation.
\nOver 15 restaurants will be participating in the event this year and the giant balloon sculptures of comic book and re al-life superheroes are created by DreamFactory Balloons.
\nThe Soup erhero Stroll is one of many events that help support Project Graduation. They hosted a football mania sweepstakes and a holiday lights tour around town in late 2022. Coming up in April is the annual CHS Prom Fashion Show\ , which made its post-COVID return las t year and an adult social. A food truck festival is also planned for late r in the spring. Sponsorship opportunities for Project Graduation are also still available\, McDonald said. There are different levels of sponsorshi p\, which include the graduation program book as well as advertising at Pr oject Graduation. Those interested should contact pgchs2023@gmail.com.

\nJoin OMNY Taiko for an interactive Taiko performance! Taiko (太鼓\, literally “big dru m”) is a type of Japanese percussion that has been played for well over 1\ ,000 years. Traditionally\, taiko were used in religious ceremonies\, fest ivals\, and as theatrical accompaniment. Kumi-daiko\, or ensemble drumming \, was created in the 1950s. In kumi-daiko\, many drummers play different- sized drums to create complex rhythms and stylized performances. This styl e of taiko drumming has become extremely popular and taiko groups have for med all across the world.

2nd Annual Mischief Night Concert Program Coming to Rosel le Park This Halloween
\nBack by popular demand\, The Borough of Ros
elle Park will be hosting its second annual
\nMischief Night Concert
& Program on Sunday\, October 30\, 2022. The concert is free to attend
\nand will take place at Michael Mauri Gazebo Park (16 E. Grant Avenue)
from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
\nThe concert’s headliner will be The Empire Ba
nd\, a six-piece band assembled in the downtown
\nclubs of lower Manh
attan. Deemed “New York’s Livest\,” The Empire Band has a song bank of
\nover 300 songs performed by highly-accomplished musicians\, meaning no

The event is open to all! Free kids

This is a WALKING tour\, so please a rrive in appropriate attire for the hour-long tour. Please arrive 15 minut es before your scheduled departure time.
