In lieu of being able to hold this Wort hy Event\, the Cranford Council will be holding a Corned Beef Dinner Sale on Saturday March 20th as a fundraiser to support the Will DeGregorio Memo rial Scholarship established by the Cranford PAL. \nPlace your bags of non-perishable food in your trunk\, drive up\, pop your trunk and volunteers will remove them\, no contact needed! Your food dona tions will be delivered to Cranford Family Care\, St. Joseph’s Social Serv ices\, and other local organizations serving families in need.

\nJoin OMNY Taiko for an interactive Taiko performance! Taiko (太鼓\, literally “big dru m”) is a type of Japanese percussion that has been played for well over 1\ ,000 years. Traditionally\, taiko were used in religious ceremonies\, fest ivals\, and as theatrical accompaniment. Kumi-daiko\, or ensemble drumming \, was created in the 1950s. In kumi-daiko\, many drummers play different- sized drums to create complex rhythms and stylized performances. Union County’s 2023 Paper Shredding Events will continue in June. There are tw o shredding events that will be held during the month. The first event wi ll take place on Wednesday\, June 7th at the Clark Public Works Yard\, whi ch is located behind the police station at 315 Westfield Avenue in Clark ( please use Wilson Road for access to the event). The second event will ta ke place on Saturday\, June 10th. This event will take place at Union College\, which is located at 1033 Springfield Avenue in Cr anford. The event will be held in parking lots 5A and 5B. Both events wi ll run from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm\, unless the shredding trucks fill to capac ity first. These events are drive-up only.

This year\, we are excited to hoist our tent\, once again\, a t Union College on Saturday\, October 7th\, for th e Cranford Jaycees’ Annual Oktoberfest Fundraiser!
\nTickets include beer and wine in a souvenir mug\, games\, food ve ndors\, and live music throughout the night. We’re excited to welcome back our headliner band Mushmouth\, alongside NYC’s Street Beat Brass\, bringi ng the authentic Oktoberfest sound.
