swim lesson program helps foster a sense of achievement as each swimmer pr

develop a love for swimming. Free swim level assessments are available.

ve Out on Saturday\, October 23rd (Saturday\, October 30th rain date. For

Park\, 38 Springfield Avenue in Cranford\, NJ. The pumpkin carving contest
is a FREE event and is open to all ages. Individuals can drop off their c
reatively carved pumpkins from 10 am until 3 pm at Hanson Park at 38 Sprin
gfield Ave\, Cranford on Saturday\, October 23rd along with a completed re
gistration form (also available on-site).\nEveryone is invited to come to
Hanson Park starting at 6 pm-9 pm to stroll along the pumpkin-lighted gard
en paths to see the carved pumpkins on display\, each on its own pedestal.
Cash awards will be given for funniest\, scariest\, and most original and

The Borough
of Roselle Park and the Roselle Park Fire Department will be hosting four
\ncommunity cooldown events during July and August. As firefighters
perform their pump and
\nwater hose drills\, children of all ages wil
l be allowed to run through the water showers to cool off
\nduring th
e hot summer evenings.
\n
“As we saw last year\, community cooldowns
are a great and easy way for children to have
\nsome fun while stayin
g cool in the heat\,” said Mayor Joe Signorello. “I hope children from all
\nRoselle Park families join our firefighters for these cooldowns! T
hank you to the Roselle Park
\nFire Department for including resident
s in your training drills.”

be a firefighter. “Not only is this a fun summer event for children\, but
it’s an excellent
\nopportunity for them to experience a behind-the-
scenes look at what our firefighters do to train\,”

ourage all children to come out\, meet our firefighters\, and beat the hea
t during the
\ncooldown!”
