Did you know t
hat 1 in 5 underserved households are not getting their kids involved in a
thletics because of the rising price of sporting equipment? Leveling the P
laying Field is nonprofit that collects and redistributes equipment to exp
and access and equity within youth sports and recreation programs in under
-resourced communities. LPF expanded to a third warehouse location in Phil
adelphia during Fall 2021 to ensure that all kids in the Greater Philadelp
hia area can get off the sidelines!
\n
We will be collecting on Satur
day October 15\, 2022 at the Cranford Community Center 220 Walnut Ave Cran
ford NJ from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please drive to the rear of the buildin
g an volunteers will unload your vehicle or you can park and drop it off i
n the lobby. So clean out your garages and clear the yard of used sporting
equipment so that kids who are less fortunate are able to enjoy them! To
learn more about LPF\, please visit www.levelingtheplayingfield.org or con
tact Detective John Rattigan at j-rattigan@cranfordnj.org or Lt. Matthew N
azzaro at m-nazzaro@cranfordnj.org.
\n
LPF accepts new and gently use
d sporting equipment donations to directly redistribute to kids in need.
We appreciate you making sure your donations are still in SAFE\, FUNCTIONA
L condition. Have a question about the condition of your gear? Contact L
PF directly at info@levelingtheplayingfield.org.
