\nRelay For Life is a grassroots\, community-based team event.
\nAlthough every Relay For Life event is different\, they do have a few things in common.
\nEvent Schedule
\nTime to get started. We kick off the event by honoring e veryone who’s been affected by cancer and everyone who has contributed to the success of this year’s Relay season.
\nSurvivors and Caregivers are the heart and soul of Relay For Life events. We honor their strength and courage with every s tep they take. It doesn’t matter if you were diagnosed 10 days ago or 10 y ears ago\, you can walk while everyone gathers together to cheer you on. p>\n
During this ceremony\ , we represent everyone touched by cancer with a Luminaria. Each light rep resents a life—a life taken by cancer\, a survivor of cancer\, or support for a person still fighting the disease. It’s a powerful demonstration tha t gives people the opportunity to grieve but also offers comfort and hope.
\n\n
Our closing ceremony is the time to commit to take action and help lead the fight for a world free from cancer. It’s a time to celebrate what we’ve accomplishe d together and a time to unify for the work that needs to be done moving f orward.
\nThe Holiday Season is upon us! Many people have the super fun and tedious tradition of the Elf on the Shelf in their home this holiday season! Those elves bring smiles a nd help report to Santa if the children have been good or bad just before the big day!
\nThe CHS Class of 2026 Elves Off the Shelf can help ma ke this season a little more festive! Our Elf/Elves will come to your home on the night you sign up for with a letter from your elves! Our team will deliver these special message after we encrypt them fro m the special decoder and deliver them to your homes and read them to your child(ren). We will also give them a special candy cane bouquet from thei r elves as a little gift!
\nThis is limited to Cranford homes only.< /p>\n
This is a fun way to add to the holiday magic this season and supp ort the Freshmen Class of 2026!
\nThe Elf of the Shelf Letter Delive ry is $20 per family. You can pay cash or check payable to Cranford High S chool dropped off to 16 Wadsworth Terrace. There will be a bin on the fron t door for you to drop your payment. A confirmation will be emailed to you .
\nOnce your payment has been received\, you will be emailed a Goog le form to complete where you will fill out your child(ren)’s information and the information about your Elf(ves)!
