For the low, low fee of a canned good, dry food or a pair of white cotton socks to be donated to the Cranford-Elmora Soup Kitchen, volunteers can participate in as many projects as they would like, including:
- bag small food items for a weekend foodpack, distributed to various schools throughthe Food Bank of New Jersey
- bag snacks and activity packs for children, distributed by Cranford Family Cares
- create cards and write letters to the troops fighting overseas
- create a craft to give to the residents of Cranford Extended Care
- decorating pillows for the victims of Hurricane Sandy
- make cleaning product care packages for families enrolled in the HomeFirst/IHNprogram, an organization that helps family relocate from shelters to permanent housing
