On Friday, February 1 at 7pm, Zumba instructor, Alexis Roe will lead a Zumbathon Dance Party in the gymnasium of the Cerebral Palsy League’s Jardine Academy (CPL) located at 61 Myrtle Street, Cranford, NJ. This fundraiser will benefit programs and services provided by CPL as well as the Occupational Center of Union County (OCUC) located in nearby Roselle. Both of our organizations provide a multitude of services, education, therapy and training for individuals with disabilities. Our Zumbathon will also feature light refreshments, local vendors, raffles, door prizes and a 50/50. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The Cranford and Westfield High School Hockey teams are bonding together to use their Union County game on Wednesday, February 6th in support of an extraordinary young boy. Will DeGregorio, a 3 year old suffering from a rare form of adrenal cancer, is a person very close to both the Westfield and Cranford communities. Tickets to the game will be $10 for adults and $5 for students, with 100% of the proceeds going to Will to help his fight against cancer. There will also be raffle tickets sold for $10 apiece. The Grand Prize will be 4 tickets to a New York Rangers game with a complimentary one-night stay at the Marriot Marquis. Other prizes will be NY Yankees tickets and NY Knicks tickets. Other raffles at the game will include prizes of NY Mets tickets, Devils tickets, a basket of Williams-Sonoma products plus more.
Raffle tickets may be purchased in advance at The Rustic Mill and Augusta Mae in Cranford and at Vicki’s Diner in Westfield, and you need not be present to win.
Please come out for the game, buy raffle tickets or make a donation to assist a wonderful little boy in need. Donations can also be made to “Friends of CHS Hockey C/O Will” @ 111 James Street, Cranford, NJ 07016.

Boy Scout Troop 75 will hold its annual fish fry dinner fundraiser on Friday, February 8th at the United Methodist Church in Cranford. Food is prepared by the famous "Argyle" restaurant from Kearny, NJ. Tickets are $14. for adults and $9. for children under 10yrs. Chicken is also available.
