    The program will be presented by Tony Romero and Nicholas Giuditta. Mr. Romero, a Cranford resident, is a Portfolio Manager and Vice President at Morgan Stanley in New York City. Mr. Giuditta, also a Cranford resident, is an attorney with a law practice in Westfield that specializes in estate planning, estate administration, wills, durable power of attorney, and advance directives. Admission to the program is free and all are welcome. The program is sponsored by the Cranford Public Library.

    You are invited to Books & Bagels, a book chat program. The format is simple. Bring a few of your more recent favorite books and tell the other members of the group what you like about them. The books can be new or old, fiction or non-fiction, classic or contemporary. There is no required reading, and you will have the opportunity to learn about books recommended by other group members. Plus, refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Cranford Public Library! Registration is NOT required. Attend as many or as few sessions as you like. Subsequent sessions will take place on November 1, and December 6.

    A special Jazz event and tribute to the guitar god, Stevie Ray Vaughan is being held on Saturday, October 4th beginning at 8:00 pm at Crossroads, 78 North Avenue in Garwood. The event will mark the tribute of Stevie Ray’s 60th birthday and Crossroads 18th Anniversary serving the community. The event will feature the Jazz guitar legend, Stanley Jordan playing Stevie’s music along with the world’s most recorded drummer Bernard Purdie and bass virtuoso Charnett Moffett; Featuring a jam session afterwards with special guests.
