    For the novice or seasoned player, the basketball clinic is the perfect place a child can come out to have fun and to learn better basketball. Students will participate in drills, competitions, and earn awards. The Clinic is held at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave, Cranford, NJ and costs $55.00.     Fasten your seatbelts and be amazed at how high, fast and far models that you build on your own will go! The super lightweight, the motorized Dragonfly and the old-time Bi-Plane are just some of the cool planes you will build and take home! And if that wasn’t enough we are also sending a helium balloon up to the sky with a camera to see how everything looks from 100 feet above ground. It’s time to earn you wings!     It is 1966 in Albacete, Spain. English teacher and die-hard Beatles fan Antonio decides to go on a road trip to Almería in the hope of meeting John Lennon, who is shooting a film there. On the way he picks up two hitch-hikers, Juanjo and Belén. This unlikely trio form a bond and decide to follow their dreams in hopes of finding their freedom.—Rotten Tomatoes. The film was released in 2013 and its running length is 108 minutes. Admission is free and all are welcome. Sponsored by the Friends of the Cranford Public Library.

    This is a week long summer camp for those who wish to learn about 5 different Latin American countries. This camp is like no other, as we explore and learn about traditional cultures, including art, music, food, geographic characteristics and language skills for Spanish speaking countries. Fee includes all camp supplies, mid morning snack and drink and a passport to record “travel”.
