The Cranford Flood Advisory Committee (CFAC) was formed as an official committee of the Township and has been active on current issues since mid 1997. Cranford's Flood Advisory Committee welcomes its new Commissioner Liason Kevin Campbell and announces that it will continue to meet on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:30 p. m. in room 108 of the Municipal Building located at 8 Springfield Avenue in Cranford unless otherwise rescheduled. As part of this effort, Springfield Township will be hosting a meeting of the communities on the East Branch of the Rahwary River on April 23 to discuss the possibilities of various flood mitigation strategies.
