Demolition has begun
The original flagpole base has been unearthed,

| along with it the original plaque | and the flagpole is prepared to leave the Conservation Center |

A sign to track the fundraising progress has been installed
at Post Office Plaza
Keep an eye on the sign and watch progress towards the goal.

The flagpole leaves the Conservation Center, bound for the restoration shop
Onto the truck,

and out onto the road, leaving behind only its concrete supports at the Conservation Center.
