 SPECIAL NOTICE: EFFECTIVE AUGUST 3, 2009
     The Office of Vital Statistics will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily (Monday to Friday {holidays excluded}). Special Appointments may be made for Marriage Applications by calling 908-709-7238. The Regular Office Hours of the Health Department will be 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily (Monday to Friday {holidays excluded}).

SUNDAY February 21, 2010
from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
at the
ORANGE AVENUE SCHOOL
901 Orange Avenue, Cranford

 THE CRANFORD DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
RECOMMENDS THAT RESIDENTS
 
ACT NOW TO PROTECT AGAINST THE FLU
 
1) Get your Seasonal flu shot now, and ask your healthcare provider about getting the H1N1 flu shot
 
2) Wash your hands often - especially after coughing or sneezing (wash hands with soap & water for 20 seconds or clean with alcohol-based hand cleaner)
 
3) Cover coughs & sneezes (cover your mouth & nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve - not your hands)
 
4) Stay home if you are sick
 
The New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services has opened a toll-free telephone line to answer questions on H1N1 Influenza & Vaccine. The telephone number is 866-321-9571. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
