Neighbors-helping-Neighbors is a support group for people who are actively looking for work and/or want to invigorate their job search. This includes those in career transition, recent graduates, laid off workers, unemployed or underemployed professionals, persons re-entering the job market, small business owners struggling for business, and retirees looking for paid or volunteer work. | Bach to Rock - Electric Violinist Caryn Lin |

Ms. Lin will begin the program by performing a simple Bach minuet on a traditional acoustic violin. She will then use the five string electric violin and sound effects to transcend her "solo" sound by "looping”—that is, by creating sound loops live that she adds to and embellishes, playing in essence, live duos and trios with herself. Admission is free and all are welcome. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cranford Public Library.

You are invited to Books & Bagels, a new, book chat program that takes place monthly on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the library's Fridlington Room. The format is simple. Just bring a few of your more recent favorite reads and tell the other members of the group what you like about them. The books can be new or old, fiction or non-fiction, classic or contemporary. There is no required reading, and you will have the opportunity to learn about books recommended by other group members. Plus, refreshments will be served, courtesy of the Friends of the Cranford Public Library! Registration is NOT required. Attend as many or as few sessions as you like.
