Membership in the Friends of the Cranford Public Library is open to all interested adults and youth. Annual memberships are accepted throughout the year.

The Friends meet the second Wednesday of each month at 7:15 p.m. in the library, September through May. All members of the Friends are invited to attend these meetings.

Each year, the Friends sponsor a variety of special events for all ages, including:

~ the children's summer reading program
~ the young adult summer reading program
~ summer performances by the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey
~ quarterly book sales
~ international film festival for adults
