Public Safety personnel will be on hand to answer questions or demonstrate equipment.

For the 11th year in a row, a blood drive will also be held during National Night Out.

A DJ, face painter, and entertainment will be on site to provide entertainment for children and adults, and AAA and other organizations will be handing out literature and giveaways.

As the event gets closer we will publish a schedule and list of other activities and participants.

Please join us at Hanson Park on Wednesday, August 21st at 10:00 AM for “How Trees Work,” an educational program for 3rd-5th graders.  During this free, hour-long class, students will learn all about trees from Master Tree Steward, Dean Talcott.  Some of the topics covered will include: why leaves fall, the types of trees in NJ, how to tell the age of a tree and all about maple sugaring.  A round of Tree Jeopardy will be played, all while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the park.
