Santa’s Parade of Lights @ Roselle Park, NJ
Dec 4 @ 7:00 pm
Santa’s Parade of Lights @ Roselle Park, NJ | Roselle Park | New Jersey | United States

On Friday, December 4th, at 7 pm, Roselle Park is hosting Santa’s Parade of Lights. The parade will feature Santa Claus and will pause near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Grant Avenue, near Michael J. Mauri Park, for a quick, ceremonial Christmas Tree lighting.

The parade will be lead by the lights and sirens of the Roselle Park Police Department, followed by a float consisting of the Mayor and Council and Councilmembers-elect, followed by the lights and sirens of the Roselle Park Fire Department, followed by “New Jersey Jeep Flow” playing festive holiday music, and finally a float with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus welcoming the holiday season.

For the safety of all, parade participants will be limited only to the above-listed groups and individuals. Residents are encouraged to watch from their front porches, yards, or sidewalks as the parade passes by. In the alternative, while being sure to maintain social distancing, residents may choose to watch the parade pass by at a scenic watchpoint in one of the Borough’s parks or open spaces along the route below.

“As the Covid-19 cases rise in our community, it is important we do our best to keep the spirit of the holidays alive,” said Roselle Park Mayor Joe Signorello. “Although our children are not able to meet Santa in-person and tell him their Christmas wishes this year, we hope seeing Santa ride through their neighborhood will bring joy and smiles to our children’s faces during these challenging times.”

For more information about Santa’s Parade of Lights, please contact the Casano Community Center at 908-245-0666.
