We are very pleased to once again conduct the Atlantic Health System Health and Wellness Expo in conjunction with Trinitas Regional Medical Center RWJ Barnabas Health & GWACC which was absent for the past two years due to COVID. And, for the first time, we are bringing the GWACC Health and Wellness EXPO to Downtown Westfield. The Presbyterian Church is within walking distance to stores, restaurants and municipal parking lots in Westfield. The Expo is FREE to the public and this year we plan to have Healthy food available to the attendees for purchase. The Expo will be held in conjunction at least one major Health Organization and Exhibitor spaces are available to those who serve the health and wellness community.

Cranford Memorial Day Parade @ Cranford Community Center

The Cranford Recreation and Parks Department is pleased to announce its annual Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 30th. Cranford VFW Post #335 has announced that Marine Corp veteran Braulio Lirenzo has been chosen to be this year’s Cranford Memorial Day Parade Grand Marshall.

Line up begins at the Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue in Cranford at 8:30am and marching commences at 9:00am ending with a traditional memorial ceremony at Memorial Park on Springfield Avenue between Riverside Drive and Central Avenue at 10 am. In case of inclement weather, services only will be held at the Cranford Community Center at 10:00am.

Our Leonard Snyder Memorial Father’s Day Fishing Derby tradition is back!

The Nomahegan Park pond will be stocked with bass and catfish. Free bait and bobbers for all participants! Prizes by age group for the top 3 biggest fish caught.

Cranford Jaycees Firecracker 4 Miler & Fun Run @ Nomahegan Park

The 43rd running of the Cranford Jaycees Firecracker 4 Miler takes place in Cranford, NJ on July 4th, 2022 on a fast, flat, USATF certified, scenic course on tree-lined streets and bike trails.

Races include the traditional 4 miler course, the 1-mile family fun run, and a Virtual Run option. The 4-mile race features mile splits, water stops, and chip timing.

Technical race shirts and souvenir race pint glasses are available for runners.

After the race, enjoy refreshments, music, popcorn, ice pops, and face painting while listening to our DJ and watching the prize ceremony.
