The First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, 11 Springfield Ave, will be holding it’s Fifth Annual Artisan Craft Fair on Saturday, November 16, 2019 in Bates Hall (near Miln St.) from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Come shop a wide variety of beautiful handcrafted goods such as jewelry, needlework, pottery, artisan foods, pet items, seasonal goods and gifts for the holidays. The fair consists of only handcrafted goods, no direct sale merchandise and ADMISSION IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC. There will also be a bake sale. All proceeds from the bake sale go to support the mission work of the church which benefit the homeless and hungry.

4:00pm Children’s Christmas Eve Service 
If you’ve got kids and family obligations Christmas Eve, the 4:00pm service is ideal! The children’s choirs, first to sixth graders, will present the children’s Christmas Cantata. Always a little mayhem and unexpected laughs, but a moving and fun experience for the young and young at heart. Under the direction of Elsa Hahn and accompanied by Ann Weeks, this year’s children’s Christmas Cantata is entitled “The Little Bell Who Wouldn’t Stop Ringing.” All are welcome!
8:00pm, Traditional Family Worship Service
Rev. J. Christian Kile will lead a traditional Christmas Eve service with familiar Christmas carols, perfect for families and all those who wish to celebrate with full choirs and organ music.  During the final hymn, “Silent Night, Holy Night”, the lights will be dimmed and candlelight will fill the Sanctuary.   All are welcome!

11:00pm Candlelight Service with Holy Communion
There will be a moving and beautiful candlelight service with Holy Communion. The service ends with dimming of the lights and the singing of “Silent Night, Holy Night” by candlelight.  All are welcome!

For the 7th year in a row, First Presbyterian Church of Cranford, NJ is inviting all community members to participate in a Service Fair to assist with assembling packages and other various hands-on projects to benefit homeless youth, the elderly, veterans and more! The Service Fair will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on Monday, January 20, in  “Bates Hall” (the large gym) on the corner of Springfield Avenue and Miln Street. This is a great event for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, confirmation service hours, and anyone who wants to make the day count by brightening the lives of people in need.

This is a non-sectarian community event.  Come and make the day count!

Songs in the Key of Love: Valentine’s Day with Top Classical Artists @ First Presbyterian Church

Cranford residents and New Jersey Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Brennan Sweet and his cellist wife, Christine, along with pianist and Grammy-winner Allison Franzetti, present a night of warm and uplifting music. A light dinner will be served at 7, and the concert begins at 8 at the First Presbyterian Church on February 14. Proceeds will benefit the Cranford Schools Friends of Performing Arts. A delightful afternoon tea with assorted teas, scones, tea sandwiches, and desserts, prepared by the Cake Artist of Cranford. There will be a short musical performance and chances to win at the tricky tray and 50/50 Come alone or bring friends!

Scholar Tea is hosted by The College Women’s Club of Cranford, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1932, as a fundraiser for college scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors residing in Cranford. 100% of the proceeds will go to fund scholarships for Cranford Students.

Open seating, on a first-come, first-serve basis, for orders of 7 tickets or less.
