Hanson Park Conservancy Covid-19 Memorial Bench Fundraiser @ Virtual
Jul 20 all-day

Dear Friends of Hanson Park Conservancy,

Please help HPC honor those we’ve lost to COVID-19 by contributing to a Memorial Bench.
COVID-19 has taken the lives of over 150 residents of Cranford. HPC would like to honor those lives by placing a Memorial Bench next to the Butterfly Garden –– a beautiful and serene place for remembrance and reflection.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to this memorial. Please contribute any dollar amount that you wish towards this memorial, which remembers our fellow residents. The bench is expected to be installed later this year and will include a plaque in tribute to those we’ve lost.

The unique Hanson Park benches are hand-made by a craftsman in upstate New York. They were chosen as part of the original design which envisioned a passive environmentally sensitive park along the Rahway River.
Tax-exempt contributions can be made by mailing a check directly to HPC PO Box 542, Cranford, NJ 07016, visiting our website at www.hansonparkconservancy.com, or through our Facebook page.

We’d like to thank the entire community of Cranford for always supporting HPC.
Feel free to visit the park at 38 Springfield Avenue, Cranford, NJ. Details on the bench installation will be provided at a later date.

Rubber Ducky Race @ Sperry Park

Rubber Ducky Race @ Sperry Park

Annual Rubber Ducky Race

We will still be holding our 10th annual Rubber Ducky Race on October 10th, but this year, the Ducks are on us!

With the recent flooding event that impacted our community, our famous rubber ducks will NOT be for sale. Instead, they will be available for adoption, free of charge. We hope that our Rubber Ducky Race will provide some much-needed and well-deserved reprieve from the hardships that our town has suffered.

Ducks can be adopted and picked up from Periwinkles Fine Gifts (19 N. Union Ave, Cranford). Individuals can adopt a single duck, and families can adopt a Family Flock of Five.

Unfortunately, Hanson Park itself was hit hard by Hurricane Ida. If you’d like to help, please consider ordering a Rubber Ducky Race T-Shirt or providing a donation to HPC for the replacement of bushes, ongoing maintenance, and continued beautification of the park. All donations are gratefully accepted.
