Summit Selections Wine Tasting @ Dittrick’s Wines & Liquors
“Wine tasting hosted by local distributor Summit Selections. Summit Selections is a family-owned and operated Wine and Spirits distributor based in New York but resides right here in Westfield, NJ. The Meyer family began their journey distributing wine throughout NYC in 2012 and recently has decided to start distributing in New Jersey, making their long-awaited wine offerings available to friends and family throughout Union County. The Meyer family specializes in discovering independent wine producers from emerging and established regions with an emphasis on organic and sustainable winemaking practices. Summit Selections is focused on representing niche producers that have a strong commitment toward wines of authenticity, uniqueness, and a sense of place. Believing in wines that are of family ownership, renowned quality, and exhibit the characteristics true to the countries and regions from which they reside. Come see what delicious wines the Meyer Family has to offer this Saturday from 4-6 pm at Dittrick’s Wines & Liquors!”

Scu do, Prosecco Brut – NV
Prosecco has long been one of our favorite alternatives to Champagne, and this delicious bottle is a great reminder of why. Light, dry, subtly citrusy, and endlessly drinkable, Scu Dò comes to us from a collection of small independent growers in Northern Italy’s Valdobbiadene, a sub-region of the Veneto. We think it’s some of the best bubblies on the market: excellent for sipping, savoring, or toasting.
Produttori di Govone, Barbera d’Alba – 2018
The Barbera grape makes deliciously likable red wines: They’re full of bright, red-berried fruits, and they’re lively and fresh on the palate. Govone is unoaked, allowing the grape’s full character to shine through. Enjoy this with cured meats, cheeses, and briny olives.
