A benefit for Alzheimer’s New Jersey!
The Cranford Jaycees and the Union Area League of Women Voters will be hosting the 2019 Township Committee Candidates’ Forum on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. in the Cranford Municipal Building, Council Chambers.
Come to hear and meet the Township Committee Candidates. There are two three-year term committee positions on the ballot this year. The candidates are Democrats Kathleen Miller Prunty and Brian Andrews, and Republicans Mary O’Connor and Philip Siliato.
An open forum will be provided for questions from the audience. All are invited to attend. TV35 will broadcast the forum live.

During the Fire and Ice event, a number of Downtown restaurants will be taking part in a “Souper Stroll.” From 1-3 PM on February 15th, stop by participating restaurants and warm up with samples of their delicious soups. Stay tuned for a list of participating restaurants!
Ashes To Go this year for Wednesday, February 26, 2020, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm – drive through under our portico at The Chelsea at Fanwood to get ashes imposed for Ash Wednesday.
The Cranford Jaycees and the Union Area League of Women Voters will host the Annual Cranford Township Committee Candidates Forum on Thursday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m.
The candidates this year running for two seats on the Cranford Township Committee are Republicans Gina Black and Chrissa Stulpin, and Democrats Brian Andrews and Jason Gareis. The two incumbents, Mayor Patrick Giblin (D) and Commissioner Jean-Albert Maisonneuve (D) are not seeking reelection.
The forum is an opportunity for candidates to present their platforms and answer questions regarding topics of interest to the Cranford community. Due to COVID-19, the event will occur without a live audience this year. The forum will be broadcasted live on TV35 and on TV35’s Facebook page.
As in years past, questions will be solicited from the public for consideration of topics to be discussed. Questions can be submitted via email to [email protected].
