WALK-INS Welcome!
All donors at NYBC January drives will be entered into a sweepstake for a trip for 2 to Cancun.
The Cranford Jaycees are pleased to present the 2020 AFC NFC Fundraiser, held on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at the Thirsty Turtle. All money raised will benefit the Art Bilenker family. Art Bilenker is a longtime member of the Cranford Jaycees, town resident, dentist, and military veteran who was paralyzed in 2017. Funds raised will help supplement his at-home medical costs.
The AFC NFC Fundraiser will occur from 3:00-6:00pm, during the first game (the AFC Championship).
Ticket cost is $40 advance, $45 at the door. Advance ticket sales end Sunday, January 12, 2020. Only 45 tickets remain. Tickets can be purchased via Paypal, [email protected] (please select the family/friends payment option). In the event the fundraiser sells out, any tickets purchased after will be refunded to the purchaser.
Included with ticket:
-
Unlimited Miller Lite and Yuengling draft beer from 3:00-6:00pm (sorry, no pitchers).
-
Unlimited select appetizers from 3:00-4:30pm (3 serving locations).
-
1 craft beer chip redeemable for a select menu on tap.
-
$10 coupon off a future visit to Thirsty Turtle.
-
10% off Thirsty Turtle food menu items after 4:30pm.
There will also be Super Bowl/AFC/NFC Box Pools, daily fantasy-style contests, and raffle items.
A selection of this year’s raffle items include donations from the New York Giants, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, New York Red Bulls, Sky Blue FC, Seton Hall Men’s Basketball, New York Islanders, New York Lizards Lacrosse, State Theatre of New Jersey, and Mayo Performing Arts Center.
On Friday, May 15th, join us in a one-mile virtual run/walk inspired by our Track Friday event. We encourage you to go “The Extra Mile” anywhere you’re comfortable (and permitted*), any time of the day, in honor of the high school seniors who are going the extra mile for our community.
Wear Cranford colors & sports uniforms and post pictures with the hashtag #CranfordExtraMile.
All families who register through this page (https://bit.ly/JayceesExtraMile) and make a donation (any amount within your means) to the Cranford Jaycees will be entered into a raffle for some exciting door prizes from River and Rail Cantina, one of our great longtime sponsors.
* We encourage participants to stay in their neighborhoods, only walk with family members, and follow the town’s social distancing guidelines. Participants who feel more comfortable staying on their property – or who are looking for a fun twist – can participate in “The Extra Mile Challenge” at home.
** Register at bit.ly/JayceesFish **

The Cranford Jaycees have been hosting a Track Friday event at the Ray White Track since 2016. In light of new considerations for COVID-19, the Jaycees will host a hybrid version of the event that allows us to continue our tradition of gathering at the track while also offering a town-wide virtual option. Cranford residents are invited to participate at the track or by running/walking virtually, anywhere, anytime on November 27th.
The Jaycees have created a special commemorative t-shirt celebrating the 5th Annual Cranford Track Friday. All net proceeds from the sales will support a fund comprised of local charities that have touched the Cranford Community in 2020. The Jaycees have nominated beneficiaries that support COVID-19 Relief, Suicide Prevention and Mental Health, and Pediatric Cancer.
See you at the Ray White Track – or somewhere around town – on November 27th at 11 AM!
