Independence Day Fireworks Coming Back to Roselle Park
Roselle Park’s annual Independence Day celebration and fireworks show are coming back to the Borough on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Gates at Herm Shaw Field (214 West Colfax Avenue) will open to the general public at 5:00 p.m. The celebration will include food vendors, inflatables, activities, and live music by the Garden State Groove Band. The evening will conclude at dusk with a brief flag-raising ceremony that will kick off the best fireworks show in Union County. The event and all activities are free and open to the general public of all ages.
“With last year’s Independence Day fireworks show being canceled, I’m excited for their return this year. This event will not only be a celebration of our freedom as Americans but as a celebration of finally being able to come together as a community,” said Mayor Joseph Signorello.
Should inclement weather occur, the rain date is Monday, July 5th. For more information, please contact the Casano Community Center at (908)-245-0666.
The Borough thanks the sponsors that made this year’s event possible: Suburban Disposal, Inc., Neglia Engineering Associates, and the Union County Board of County Commissioners.
