This seems like a great event, however the advertising photograph really just perpetuates stereotypes and utterly fails to positively display diversity. The one non-white child still appears to be with a white family, everyone else is white, the two individuals with children are both women, and the person exercising to get in shape is a man. The women seem to be "getting fit" through socialization and motherhood. I get that Cranford is not a particularly diverse place to live, but we should be promoting diversity and evolving with the times. If this is a community-wide event about change, perhaps we can be more representative in the future of all the types of individuals and families in our community.
