Due to COVID-19 restrictions and regulations, the Cranford Knights of Columbus will not be able to hold our Annual St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance this year. In lieu of being able to hold this Worthy Event, the Cranford Council will be holding a Corned Beef Dinner Sale on Saturday March 20th as a fundraiser to support the Will DeGregorio Memorial Scholarship established by the Cranford PAL. Will was a fine young man and a great athlete who we lost way too early to Cancer.
To support this worthy cause, we are accepting pre-orders only that must be received by March 16th. The cost is $15.00 per Dinner and there is a Family Plan of 4 Dinners for $50.00 that includes Corned Beef, Cabbage, Potatoes & Rye Bread. Dinners can be picked up at St. Michael’s School Cafeteria from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on March 20th and we can also deliver Dinners to your home. We can accept payment by check, cash or through Venmo or Zelle and that account information will be provided when you place your order. Credit Cards cannot be accepted on any basis.
To place an order please contact either:

The Westfield Area YMCA is partnering with Jersey Mike’s Subs located at 144 East Broad Street in Westfield for the 11th annual March “Month of Giving” fundraising campaign. The campaign culminates in the Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 31. On that day, the Westfield Jersey Mike’s location will donate 100% of the day’s sales to help send a kid in need to camp or child care at the Westfield Area YMCA this year. “The Y is thankful and appreciative of Jersey Mike’s continued generosity,” stated Bonnie Cohen, Westfield Area YMCA Director of Communications and Development.
Since the first nationwide fundraiser in 2011, Jersey Mike’s annual Month of Giving has raised more than $32 million for local charities.
Thanks to the Y’s financial assistance program, no one experiencing a bona fide financial hardship that lives or works in Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside, or Westfield is turned away for inability to pay. The majority of awards enable participation in the Y’s early learning, school-age, and summer day camp programs. For more information, please visit www.westfieldynj.org.
